There are many things going on in the world today. People are having financial struggles within a tough economy, racial uprisings, natural disasters, and countless acts of war overseas. In everything that is going on in the world our personal lives seem out of control. You question how can you continue to have hope when life has thrown you so many curve balls. One minute everything is alright then next minute you have, a major illness, job layoff, major house expense, car repairs, or family tragedy. You find yourself depressed, you stop doing the things you normally do for pleasure, you seclude yourself from family and friends because you just don't know what to do. Sometimes we suffer in silence behind smiles and laughter all while going through the piercing pain of depression. You start to question why you are here, what were you meant to do with your life, and why aren't you doing it. Life can be challenging but you can overcome depression with confidence. There are still many things in life that can bring happiness in all this chaos but you have to be willing to see it.
